FLEECE and ROVING SALE LIST |
Shetland wool is soft with a silky handle, durable, and warm;
and the finest of any wool produced by a British breed. Fleeces will vary
among sheep--from a short staple with a wavy, tight crimp; to 'skimret', staples
composed of two fiber lengths, the longer one forming the tips. There are
11 official colors, some still quite rare, and many shades of color between.
FLEECE SALE LIST
The
fleece listing below (2006) is typical of what I normally have for sale.
I've had wonderful sales of all my Shetland products--and I am currently sold out
of all fleece, roving, and yarn.
2008 Shearing--It is now March and normally shearing time for us. But we are still in the grips of cold, snow, and ice! So to be kind to the sheep, the shearer, and the shepherds--we will have the sheep shorn in May this year.

I cannot accept credit cards, but checks are fine. Shipping charges will be extra. I tend to ship via FedEx (they are dependable and not as expensive as UPS), and I can calculate the exact shipping charge once I have your order.

ROVING SALE LIST

also have a limited supply of wonderful pin-drafted handspinners' roving.
My customers love this roving as it spins so easily. It's available in
various natural colors of Shetland wool and some blends of Shetland wool with
exotic fibers. Wool is coming and going to the mill at various times
